Laureates and Leaders for children Summit held in Rastopoti Bhaban, New Delhi, India on 9-10, December, 2016. This Summit was organized by the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation. Honourable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee was the chief guest. Nobel Lauriate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, presided over the Summit.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Princess Charlenc of Monaco, Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein of Jordan, Princess Laurentine of the Netherlands, UNESCO Special Envoy one Literacy for Development and Jose Ramos-Horta, former President of Timore-Leste, Julia Gillard, Former Prime Minister of Australia, Gilbert Houngbo, Former Prime Minister of Togo, Ms. Laymah Gbowee, Nobel Peace Lauriate, Mr. Jeffrey Sachs, Director, The Earth Institute, Ms. TawakkolKarman Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. AngelGuria, Sec-general Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development participate at this summit.
Mr. Ratan Kumar Nag, Acting Managing Director of Grameen Bank along with his wife Shampa Paul was also invited in this summit. Mr. Nag was also Moderator and Pannnelist speaker for two different Sessions which was held in Rastopoti Bhaban, New Delhi, India.
